Helping Our Community Make Healthy Decisions

The Independent Health Foundation created the Healthy Options program in 2004 to help our community make informed decisions about healthy eating. Through education, food access programs and partnerships with over 250 local restaurants and food trucks, Healthy Options ensures that eating well in Western New York is easy and affordable for families everywhere.

In the Community

You can find us in the community from June to August at Larkin Square for Food Truck Tuesdays and at Northland Workforce Training Center for Food Truck Thursdays, where you can enjoy nutritious meals from dozens of different vendors. Plus, our annual Healthy Options Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity to visit local restaurants and discover all the healthy food WNY has to offer!
