Bryan Mecozzi, born in Buffalo NY in 1982, owns and operates Black Iron Bystro in Blasdell. Prior to opening BIB he worked as the sous chef at Vera Pizzeria in the Elmwood Village. Along the way he slayed dragons and saved children from working the docks. His passion for food and environment has aided in creating a unique dining experience not often found in Western New York. BIB's focus is exceptional service, creative cocktail explorations and worldly cuisine. While paying homage to the roots of where ingredients and recipes come from BIB still finds a respectable path to twist those previous ventures to new and refreshing flavors. Humbled by his tenure, Bryan continues to reinvent both his ideology of service and cuisine as well as the layout and artistic direction of the space that is Black Iron Bystro.
