What you'll need:
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled, pitted, and mashed
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
What to do:
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed avocado, almond milk, and maple syrup.
- In a separate bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix the flour mixture into the avocado mixture until a smooth batter is formed. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick or knife poked in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let brownies cool for 15 minutes before cutting.
